Chill Out - every Sunday

We all know it’s nice to chill out on a Sunday evening before the busy week starts. Well why not come to Awesome Wall for a relaxed climbing session where between climbs you can have a coffee, hangout and socialise with other like minded and climbing addicted people, read a climbing magazine or bring your laptop and surf the web.

Come and climb for fun or, if you have trouble relaxing, with the aim of developing your climbing. The Sunday Night Chill Out takes place every Sunday evening from 5:30pm until 7:30pm so feel free to drop in and have a climb.

The Sunday Night Chill Out is for all abilities and we will be offering at least one instructor to be on hand for coaching purposes if you wish to utilise their expertise. Unlimited tea, coffee and squash will be provided for the duration of the session. All of this for only £7.00 per head.

All are welcome but under 16s mPublish Postust be accompanied by a competent adult.

Iker & Eneko are renowned for there fast accents on some of the worlds hardest and longest rock faces.

The lecture will start at 8.30pm, we also have the C U Belay glasses demo happening the same evening. Unfortunately climbing on the lead walls will not be allowed after 7pm but all other areas will be open until 8.15pm

First Aid - Stoke - 2nd April

There are still a few spaces left on our next two day REC first aid course that will be held at Awesome Walls Stoke on 2nd and 3rd April. This is a practical two day course designed for people who work in the outdoors or who use the outdoors for pleasure. The course is suitable for Teachers, Outdoor Instructors, Climbers and Canoeists alike. It is recognised as the minimum qualification for MLTUK, ML Summer and Winter Awards, Single Pitch Supervisors Award, RYA, BCU, BASI, ASSI, BOF, and by most other Governing Bodies. Practical scenarios play a big part in this course, including dealing with multiple casualty situations. Light refreshments included.

Little Angels Christmas Party

Fun games for the festive season with prizes/gifts (including a special limited edition Christmas T-shirt) for all, followed by a mass feed. 

The games will start at 10am and will include some boulder problems of varying difficulty along with fun festive games. There will be prizes for two ages groups, 8-11 year olds & 12-16 years olds.

Food, prize giving and a visit from Santa from 12pm.
